Tilting legs on stomach

Two days after the 2011 Canadian federal election, we have a deep exploration of the dynamics of tilting and looking left and right.

Somehow I missed the obvious point that looking right drives your knees left, and looking left drives your knees back right. All those liberals who voted conservative at the last minute, driven by the rise of the NDP.

  1. There’s an important piece I left out. At the beginning, as your tilt your feet to the (e.g.) left, you notice whether your right elbow drags downwards along the floor. It might not do so–maybe you even push down with your elbow or lengthen on that diagonal to try to help the leg movement. But as you go, gradually the shoulder girdle and the elbow calm down, and passively get dragged along with the tilting of the knees.
