Elbows in crooks

This fascinating lesson (but which lesson isn’t fascinating?) is (literally?) an eye-opener. Picking up some ideas from Violin arms but moving closer in to the core, it will show you some connections and some distinctions you probably have never felt before in your shoulders.

We talked after class about variations you could explore in this lesson. (It feels like just an introduction to something you could get to know much, much more of!)

Looking back at [[Violin Arms]], you can explore turning your head one way or another, do the lesson lying down as well as sitting; and in lying, you can play with legs long/bent (one leg long and the other bent), and with pushing from the foot.
